Policies & Tuition

Piano Study consists of private lessons, repertoire group classes, recitals, and other performing and educational opportunities throughout the year. Your tuition covers much more than the private piano lesson, and is based on an 11-month studio year, and not on how many lessons or events are held /offered per month. As a member of Music Teacher’s National Association (MTNA), East Valley Music Teacher's Association (EVMTA) and Keyboard Gymnastics of Phoenix, Marian’s students are eligible to participate in many community, non-competitive, social, and competitive events.

Group lessons (Repertoire Performance Classes) are excellent learning opportunities that help motivate and keep piano students from feeling isolated. Performing, Composing, Ensembles, Music History, and Music Games are included in group lessons.

Marian's Club Piano is an additional opportunity for those students participating in Keyboard Gymnastics which includes performance and level testing opportunities in several key music categories.

Showcasing the students progress and musicianship each year are Recitals as well as individual House Concerts.

Tuition is due and payable on or before the first of each month. This is a semester tuition, broken up into monthly payments for your convenience.

Due to Covid-19 Cleaning protocols and virtual lesson constraints, most studio lessons are either 50 or 60 minute lesson format, with a break in between each lesson. There are exceptions for the Young Musicians Program. Please see teacher for information and pricing.

Young Musician’s Program: 30 minute lesson format - available for WunderKeys Preschool 3-5 year olds

40-45 minute lesson format - available for WunderKeys Primer 6-8 year olds

Additional Fee for Marian's Club Piano

Complete studio policies including tuition structure are given to each family and are available in the studio. Please email teacher at marian@marianpeasepiano.com or call 480-893-8524 to schedule your complimentary Meet & Greet to learn more about this adventure of learning the piano!

There is no “right” time to begin piano lessons for each student. Private lessons are for any age student based on a readiness assessment.
