Policies & Tuition

Piano Study consists of private lessons, repertoire performance classes, recitals, and other performing and educational opportunities throughout the year. Tuition covers much more than private piano lessons and is based on an 11-month studio year, not on how many lessons or events are held/offered per month.   As a member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and the Arizona State Music Teachers Association, Marian’s students are eligible to participate in many community, non-competitive, social, and competitive events.

Repertoire Performance Classes are excellent community and leadership opportunities that motivate students and help keep them from feeling isolated.  These group gatherings include performing, composing, ensembles, music history, and music theory games.  

Recitals and House Concerts showcase the students' progress and musicianship each year.

Complete studio policies, including tuition structure, are given to each family and are available in the studio.

There is no “right” time to begin piano lessons for each student.  Private lessons are for students of any age, based on a readiness assessment.
